The key features of the organisation are:
- This is a clinically led ‘not for personal profit’ organisation. Any profit made will be reinvested in local services.
- A commitment to moving, where possible, a range of services from hospitals into the community setting, thereby ensuring both clinical and cost effectiveness.
- An ability to bid for new services as shaped by patients and the public.
